Business Insider published an article showing the list of hardest Pokemon to catch in Pokemon Go.
Luckily, Pokemon Go fans have combed through its code to find out exactly which Pokémon have the lowest base-capture rate (or are the most likely to flee).
It's an important knowledge for any serious Pokémon Go player because it can mean the difference between catching an extremely rare Pokémon or walking away empty-handed.
Before I reveal the hardest to catch Pokemon, let me first show you the easiest to catch Pokemon.
And in case you were curious, the easiest Pokémon to catch in the game is none other than Magikarp. Its base-capture rate is 56%.

While it doesn't have a low capture rate, Abra has the highest flee rate in the game, at 99%. So if you don't catch it with your first throw, it will probably disappear.

If you're a level 25 trainer in Pokémon Go, for example, a creature with an 8% base capture rate has a 6% capture rate. That means it has a 94% chance of escaping.
